  3. Copyright licences agreement: when you sign this agreement, we will collect the information required for this, including your name, email address and IP address. We need this information to provide our products and services to you and others.

We are the Controller of this personal information, meaning we decide what information we collect and what we do with it. We use well-recognised, secure cloud hosting services that are based in the EU or UK. We will not give your personal information to anyone else, unless required to by law or to protect our legal rights, with the exception of your publicly viewable user name and other profile data that you choose to share.

Your account information, including your user name and direct marketing consent, can be viewed, updated or deleted at any time. Data deleted using this method will be removed from our systems within 24 hours. Contact information used for marketing will be deleted 2 years after we last heard from you. Personal information required for copyright licences agreements will be retained for the lifetime of our products and services. You will be notified if your data is kept for longer than this period.

We collect and process personal information about you when using our products and services under the lawful basis of Legitimate Interests. When we contact you for marketing purposes, this is in our Legitimate Interests and when we contact you for direct marketing it is under the basis of Consent. The limited information we retain on the copyright licence agreement is under a lawful basis of Contract.

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.

Children

The minimum age to use our website is 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under 16 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 years of age, the personal data will be deleted as soon as possible.
